Work/Life Balance - It is Possible

Abstract: Mary thought she had it all: a great husband, two beautiful children, the house of her dreams, and a great job. As a manager of a retail store, she supervised 7 employees and was creating a great team. But lately, she found herself very irritable, often snapping at her husband, her children, and her employees. She also started having difficulty sleeping, often waking at night, only to find herself either thinking about work or doing some work. Mary and her husband started to fight more and her children and employees started to avoid her for fear of her mood. When I saw Mary, it was clear that she was finding it impossible to balance both her personal life with her work life. There are some steps you can take if you also have difficulty in balancing stressors that occur between our work and our home life.
